Super Simple Beaded Binding Method
In today’s video, I’m sharing a simple book‑binding method I adapted to fit my own project. It was inspired by Sea Lemon’s saddle‑stitch tutorial, where she sews along the folded spine of her pages. I loved the concept, but I wanted something that worked with flat, square sheets—so I punched holes through all my pages, stitched across the top instead of the spine, and added floss and beads for a soft, decorative finish. I’m not sure if this exact variation has been done before, but it worked beautifully for my winter journal, and I hope it inspires you to try your own version. This method is beginner‑friendly, customizable, and perfect for small art journals, mini books, or themed projects. If you enjoy this kind of creative play, you can find more of my work and monthly journaling kits at Petals & Parchment Paperie. I’d love to see what you make with this technique, so feel free to share your creations in the Facebook group. Thank you for being here and crafting with me.
