Superimposing Pentatonics Tutorial (amazing results!)
Something amazing and mysterious happens when we superimpose the Pentatonic scale over multiple chords. In this video we explore the sounds created when C minor pentatonic is superimposed over Dbmaj7b5, F-7, Abmaj7, Eb add9, Bb7 sus 4 and C7#9. It is quite incredible how the same notes sound so different depending over which harmony and groove they are played. ➡ https://jazzduets.com/collections/pentatonic-scales ***************************** My name is Nick Homes. I am a non genius musician who struggled for many years to find out the secrets of jazz improvisation. Throughout 40 years of playing, and obsessive investigation I have focussed on building systems of learning for my students so they can improve, and reach their learning goals with the highest probability whilst having fun! - JAZZDUETS LINKS - ➡ WEBSITE: https://jazzduets.com ➡ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/jazz_duets ➡ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/jazzduetsshop ➡ EMAIL: [email protected]
