Surface Modeling using Onshape and Feature Script

Introduction to CAD surface modeling using Onshape and FeatureScript. The course will cover fundamentals of creating a feature in Onshape using FeatureScript. It will then cover basic concepts of CAD surfaces and surface lofting. The final portion will cover integrating the two into a lofting feature added to Onshape. Section 1 - Basic concepts Definition of a solid and surface Using a reference surface Using a splitting surface Basic surace lofting Section 2 - Intro to FeatureScript Creating a plane stack feature using FeatureScript. Intro to FeatureScript language and parameters. Using the plane stack feature to speed up creating loft section planes Using a guide curve to improve surface quality. Section 3 - Using FeatureScript to loft a set profile along two curves.
