SUTURE MATERIAL | How to read suture packet correctly |

Hey friends!! Today's video is based on suture materials and its packaging, all the symbols have been described over here. The thread structure affects its passage through the tissue and its capillarity in the body. So above video shows a diagram distinguishing between 4 basic thread structures. There are basically 2 types of suture needles, either curved or straight. Further curved needle which is frequently used comes in various sizes and shapes. The above video shows anatomy of a curved surgical suture needle. Have a look on the diagram above telling us about the anatomy in general. Most needles used for skin and soft tissue reconstruction are 3/8 circle in curvature. Many more topics have been discussed over here have a look.
