In today’s video we will learn to use the dataSource pattern in your iOS app in Xcode 12 and Swift 5. Datasources are common ways to decouple data needs from other objects, most commonly views. We leverage this via protocols and it is a common design pattern that Apple themselves use in components like TableViews, CollectionViews, and others.
