swimdo.org Drowning is a leading cause of death in low-and-middle-income countries in Asia, and has become a major public health issue in Indonesia. It is often called an invisible issue. Swimdo is working to change that. Our mission is to reduce the rate of child drowning in Indonesia through innovative and multifaceted intervention. Our main tenants are education and instruction through which we prevent drowning events before they happen and provide individuals with the knowledge and know-how should a drowning occur. Our team is made up of certified professionals that have years of experience in CPR training, swim instruction, water safety, oceanography, sailing, surfing and community research.
