Swordfight! is meant to be as bombastic as possible—I'd been writing a lot of rock songs at the time, and I couldn't resist a chance to throw a little of that flavor into the score mixed with horns and strings. What better place than a swordfight for an epic battle theme? I enjoy how the drums crescendo as the sound effects speed up, and that one little cat scream I layered in there.
