Yes, you could make a similar sound in another soft synth, but it wouldn't sound as good so quickly. This expressive Electro lead in Sylenth is a great sound for a lot of genres. It uses all four Oscillators, one serving as a noise generator. It's crazy, but I didn't even change the stereo or detune settings at all on any of the Oscillators. Just by increasing the voice count in Sylenth, you can create really wide sounds!
