For the most part, they are, but a lot of the time they sound so big because of layering. In this tutorial, learn how to crate two different Electro Leads in Sylenth and some tips on how to layer them together for a big, tight sound. You might be asking why I wouldn't just use both pages in Sylenth and blend those together. The reason I made two separate sounds on two separate instances of Sylenth is because I can create different Modulation Envelopes for each sound using any destination I want. If I made both sounds using one instance of Sylenth, I would not be able to do that. You can apply this technique to any genre and even any synth. The trick is to create two separate sounding leads. One of the Electro leads in Sylenth is very crispy and monophonic and the other one is a supersaw sound. One of the Electro leads in Sylenth is kept in the center of the mix and the supersaw lead is doubled and panned hard left and right. It also helps to side chain the heck out of the leads panned left and right.
