Having come up via the queer music community of Hamburg and now based in Paris, French artist Sylvio B has built a name for himself across Europe playing line-ups at Thuishaven, Dalston Superstore, Macadam, and many more. The Parisian now lands on Step Recordings with the Body Control EP. A low-slung EP characterised by brooding basslines and slick acid licks. Sylvio B kicks things off with Beauty Inside Of Me and Dream State. Two dancefloor cuts filled with hooky vibrant chords and melody, both backed with a deadly acid undertone. The title track Body Control drives the EP into a dark atmospheric distinguished by a growling bass, an eerie synth and an echoing vocal hook.
