Normally when one stands, Systolic BP falls about 10 mm Hg, and Diastolic BP increases 5 mm Hg. Heart Rate rises 5–20 beats per minute. Orthostatic Hypotension, Defined as fall in systolic BP more than20 mm Hg or diastolic BP more than 10 mm Hg upon standing or head-up tilt, accompanied by symptoms of cerebral hypoperfusion.
