System Tray application with Electron.js and React.js
It is common that most of the top applications on a Mac have a System Tray Window, where you can make a quick configurations or short-key actions, but it is not a default OS functionality, it is more of an opening up a new window with a specific set of position coordinates, based on a System Tray location. With [React.](http://react.sj)js and Electron.js, it is possible to do, because we can actually hack a new window object with fully disabled default borders and background colors. So the actual system tray window is going to be a React.js page component routed by React Router DOM using HashRouter. This video explains the process of making a SystemTray Window and how we can manage to have multiple windows using the same React.js app and load up the same index.html file. SystemTray window is an essential part of Desktop application, it allows your users to quickly navigate across your functionality while they are doing other stuff. It is especially important for our TimeBlocker application because we want to keep the user focused on their own work, not the actual TimeBlocker application. **BusinessCoder** BusinessCoder is a channel of solo developer-entrepreneurs who are planning to or already running a small company with a product or just hacking around side projects.
