Tablet Robotics: explore the Spike app for Essentials

This video examines the various computational thinking visual programming blocks on the Spike App. We explore the two coding options for Spike Essentials including Icon blocks, suitable for K-2, and Word blocks, suitable for Years 3-6. Inspect coding a vehicle or robot to follow a sequence of basic movements using one or two motors. Extend the lesson by introducing decisions including repeat blocks and adding sensors to activate movements. Looking for some extension activities?
