This is the second test with the airplane with sealed hinges. Compare this test with the previous test observing the tufts which are positioned to bridge the hinge gap. Upon comparison it can be noted that in the previous video, during inside pitch maneuvers, the tufts can be seen to rise indicating flow between the surface and the wing. The question is, does this impact the handling? IF it does, it should be evident by the downstream tufts and their separation. My jury is still out on this one. The A-B flights, I don't notice any appreciable difference in this model. I've done the same test on full size airplanes with similar ambiguous results.
