Take your time
This is another friendship video =) I met Maïi virtually one year ago. We got along pretty easily. I met her in live two weeks later. These shots were taken in Switzerland during some of the trips I did there =) Enjoying movement together in many different ways. A lot of joyful moments and memories. A lot of smiles and bursts of laughter =D as you can easily see and hear in that video ! I edited most of this project a while ago, then took ages simply to work on the color correction.. I'm happy to finally share it now ^^ I like the combo of beautiful environment, nice moves, smiles, synchronized lines and patterns ! It was amazing to move in those places and it's looking great as well. I'm always glad to find ways to create the atmospheres I imagined for my projects ! We have a pretty different approach on flow. She was always improvising everything, not trying to go fast at all, not really thinking about what she was doing, but mostly focused on what felt good on the moment. She had that kind of nonchalance, that makes her movement really calm. Her lines are starting slow and stay on this lower pace, not because she can't go faster, because she's taking her time. I'm not improvising that often on purpose. I'm more cautious about details, about technique, about designing my lines to make those as efficient and as pleasing as possible. It's starting slower in my mind but then I love when it speeds up into my moves ! She's taking her time within her moves, I'm taking my time in my mind. With different rhythms we develop some different kind of flow. We are both focused on process over result, on sensations over performances, on happiness over progression. Even with our level differences, we still both learned and gained from each approach ♡ Taking this time, one way or another helps to adapt when something goes wrong, helps to listen to yourself, helps to have a deeper connection with your body, with your mind, with your movement, helps to share more with others, helps to come out of sessions filled with joy instead of frustration =) Thank you Maïi ^^ Thank you all for the support, hope you'll like this one as well ;) #ExpressYourself #Parkour
