VisiCalc pioneered the concept of the spreadsheet, and in many ways it is the predecessor to modern programs like Google Sheets and of course Microsoft Excel. VisiCalc was originally released for the Apple II, but was soon ported to a large number of computer systems of the day, including the Commodore PET, which is the version I demonstrate in this video, because Commodore is win!
