Taking a Look into the Cave Engine

Hey everyone, today I wanted to have a look at the Cave Engine. I haven't seen anyone (other than the dev and GameFromScratch) showcase this so I thought I would try to showcase it and have a look from a more fresher perspective?? Although my comments might seem to downplay the engine, I am still amazed at how fast this game engine is in comparison to other 3D game engines. Since I'm so used to Unity and Godot, I felt like I was comparing this to those other engines and I apologise for that. I know that this is a different engine/tool and differences are okay. I think I'm so used to Godot's interface that... this one just feels kinda alien to me??? I feel like it shouldn't but it still kinda does. If you're watching this developer, by no means am I saying your engine is bad or crap or anything like that. I think it would just be nice to have an engine that's a bit more appealing than this?? but then again, that's very subjective. 00:00 intro 00:17 old recording 19:44 new recording
