Taking the back is usually the last step in our climb through the chain of positions. Back control is the most dominant control position that we can attain. In this video, we demonstrate how to take the back when our opponent turns away from side control. Typically turning away from side control is considered a mistake. For many, it is their natural instinct, and it is an instinct of which we want to take advantage.
