Come away with me
Past the rusted skies,
To where the warm tides pulse,
And the white herons glide
Tall ships stir in the harbour,
They long to take us away
To where the broken heart is mended
By a simple kiss.
Once we reach that shore,
We’ll break and burn our ships:
Shed the weight of wanting more
And share a gentle kiss…
So Come away with me
Past the rusted skies,
To where the warm tides pulse,
And white herons glide
Come away with me
