Tallow Soap (Cold Process Soap) || Soap Making Tutorial EP.24

Hi all, Welcome to Jshimz channel. In this soap making tutorial i am making beef tallow soap using grass feed tallow. Some may dislike beef tallow soap because sometimes it still have lingering beef smell, which happen to me too. Beef tallow soap may have some benefits to the skin such as moisturizing, soothing for sensitive and dry skin which lead to my curiosity and as a result creating this beef tallow soap recipe. After using the beef tallow soap, it is indeed moisturizing and soothing to my dry skin but for the final verdict i let it open to you all to decide. Tallow Soap Benefits: Tallow cold process soap offers superior, gentle moisturization due to its unique, skin-compatible fatty acid profile, creating a hard, long-lasting, and nourishing bar. Rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, it effectively soothes dry, sensitive, or damaged skin without clogging pores. Safety precautions: Don't forget to use all safety equipment as the lye/sodium hydroxide is caustic and it can burn your skin. Safety equipment needed: Eye google, hand gloves, face mask, and long sleeve cloth when handling the lye/sodium hydroxide to avoid skin burn and fumes. Early preparation: 1) Froze goat milk and distilled water Ingredients: 128g Goat Milk 128g Distilled Water 142g Sodium Hydroxide/Lye 300g Extra Virgin Olive Oil (30%) 280g Coconut Oil (28%) 200g Beef Tallow (20%) 70g Sweet Almond Oil (7%) 50g Palm Oil (5%) 50g Castor Oil (5%) 50g Shea Butter (5%) 1tbsp Sodium lactate 1 tbsp Kaolin Clay 31g Essential Oil of your choice Cure soap for 4 weeks and the soap are ready to use.
