Tapping into Taproot Assets #2: Prototype with Polar
Welcome to the Tapping into Taproot Assets playlist. This is a series of short demo videos walking through using the Taproot Assets Daemon, tapd, from install to mint to burn. If you’ve already watched our Taproot Assets intro videos and you're ready to start building, you’re in the right place! In this second video we demonstrate how to work with the tapd APIs by setting up a local network via Lightning Polar. Note: Docker and Docker Compose are required to run the network nodes. On Mac and Windows, you can install Docker Desktop(https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop/). On Linux, you need to install Docker Server(https://docs.docker.com/get-docker/#server) and Docker Compose(https://docs.docker.com/compose/install/).
