TATA box

This lecture explains the structure and function of TATA box found in the DNA promoter region in DNA transcription. The TATA box is a DNA sequence (cis-regulatory detail) determined in the promoter vicinity of genes in archaea and eukaryotes; roughly 24% of human genes contain a TATA box within the core promoter.
