This tutorial uses visuals and a simple worked example to explain a three-phase unbalanced delta-configured system. These tutorials are aimed at the first-year undergraduate electrical engineer who is seeking to obtain a grasp of the concepts that does not use calculus or mathematics to explain: the explanations are visually-driven and supported with worked complex number solutions. This tutorial solves a three-phase unbalanced delta system for current and power. Another tutorial looks at three-phase star-systems with either an ideal neutral wire, a non-ideal (ie realstic) neutral wire where the neutral has an impedance, or whern the neutral has infinite impeadance (ie a 3-wire star system) that requires the use of Millman's Theorem, and another tutorial address (unbalanced) delta systems. As with all these A3-tutorials, an attempt has been made to minimise the maths, and maximise the visual explanation.
