The process of adding labels to an alignment involves navigating to the corridor tab under alignments and selecting 'Create Labels.' Users can choose the alignment and adjust label settings through a dialog box. These settings include spacing for major alignment labels, tick size, orientation, and display options for stationing. Labels can be customized to appear at various intervals, such as every tick or every fourth, fifth, or tenth tick. Users can also decide on the label's side and whether it should be perpendicular or tangential. Additional controls are available for minor labels, horizontal alignment geometry points, station equations, and general elevation offsets from vertical elevations. Once settings are configured and confirmed, the labels are applied to the alignment and appear as a feature under alignments. To modify labels, users can right-click to access and edit alignment settings. It is advisable to set these configurations as default to avoid redoing them for other roads or alignments within the project.
