This is especially important to combat energy and latency overheads. The webinar introduces the paradigm of collaborative machine intelligence (CMI), in which, sensing and inferencing pipelines on individual wearables, IoT and edge devices collaborate in real-time to tackle this challenge by balancing communication vs. computation overheads.
