T.E.A. Transmissions - Magnetic Coupling Demonstration

A quick demonstration of one of our magnetic couplings in action. The powerful permanent magnets allow the torque from the motor on the right to be transmitted across an air gap and even through barriers. The coupling allows for misalignment, doubles as a safety slip coupling and as shown when the magnets are brought closer the torque increases to the point where I cannot stop rotation with my hand.
