Describes how to place the BME280 sensor into sleep mode to save power and how to change the default I2C address to enable two BME280 sensors to be used on the same I2C bus. Sleep mode reduces normal BME280 current consumption from 0.443mA to 0.1uA making a significant difference to power demands of battery powered projects.
