Pull stud and retention knob torque is something often misunderstood when it comes to setting up your tool holding. While this is a topic we've covered in the past, we felt it is something we wanted to expand upon a bit and show the causes and effects of over-tightening. Values as small as 20 ft-lbs over-torqued can deform the back of the taper and cause all sorts of undesired issues!
