Technical Touchdown - By ImSloshy

This is a level from a relatively new creator with surprisingly no creator points, @ImSloshy, who was generous enough to show me part of this level during development. This level stood out to me with its slightly less polished charm. Most creators nowadays go for a more refined design to create a “perfect” level, and I can really appreciate how the creator here decided to side for doing whatever they thought looked nice instead of aiming for an objectively perfect level. Each part of this level has a majority one color, which works nicely when it’s consistent, the designs focus on values over color which enabled the level to be very readable throughout. Though I’d suggest aiming for more colors to more broaden design opportunities, like the UFO part at 0:30 which uses both red and blue nicely. The gameplay plays fine overall, though I’d argue to say the first two parts are a fair bit harder because of more demanding timings. So this would require at least a practice run for newer players. Overall, I quite like this level and I’m grateful to have been showed the level. That being said, I would totally show more support to the creator. I also hope this could be their first rate with at least a feature! Very excited to see what ImSloshy has in store next.
