Here is my version of the 1962 instrumental "Telstar" which was originally recorded by The Tornados. It was written by Joe Meek and was named after the Telstar communications satellite, which was launched into orbit on 10 July 1962. This version is based on the recording by The Shadows which appeared on their 1981 album "Hits Right Up Your Street"
I played this using my Fender Stratocaster (Bridge Pickup) with the Zoom G2.1Nu (EFTP Patch A9). Recording was done via USB to my home PC with Cubase. The backing track was from the CD "UB Hank Vol.6" with tablature by Phil McGarrick which is available here - http://www.philmcgarrick.co.uk
