TEM sample preparation onto Dens Solutions heating chip

A FIB-milled TEM lamella is retrieved using a piezo-actuated microgripper. Once extracted from the bulk, the lamella is thinned and then placed on the heating chip. Finally it is manoeuvred such that the thinned section resides on top of one of the windows in the chip so that observation in transmission is possible while heating the material.
