Tentacles by John Wilmarth, performed by the Nicoma Park Middle School 8th grade percussion ensemble. There was a thunderstorm during our recording session, which worked in our favor and provided some good background sound effects!
Program notes: "Tentacles depicts the flexible appendages found on some of the oceans' most mysterious and elusive creatures. Flowing, yet powerful, the work explores the different facets of tentacles."
