Teppo' s Cottage

Teppo’s Cottage is a mystical journey into a childhood memory from a Finnish summer cottage, featuring childish wonder, pure nature and even a little horror. Shot and recorded live on site, the piece pulls you inside to five distinctive scenes. Forest Road, Boat, Sauna, Lake and Cottage are the places of events in this peculiar story. Short film and miniature solo drum piece based on Ruokonen’s deeply personal childhood experience gives a peek inside the heart of Finnish culture.
