On May 10th 2025, Waterloo Rocketry successfully launched a test rocket with the primary objective of validating our recovery system, deployable payload and active roll control system. To say the flight was a success would be an understatement! The rocket performed exactly as designed. The dual deploy parachute system worked exactly as expected and the deployable payload was also recovered successfully! Our controls subsystem experienced a few bugs but got some very useful data. We look forward to flying these systems on our 2025 competition rocket 'Aurora'!
