We mixed two different batches of plaster using dirt excavated from our root cellar. One sample was mixed with equal parts sand and dirt, and the other was mixed with two parts sand to one part clay-dirt. In this video we tested them to see how they performed when dry. We applied the samples to a hay bale. Our home will have clay plaster on straw bale walls.
