AC condenser fans are some of the most powerful & reliable types of fans out there, so when someone called me asking for a cheap, bare bones but powerful utility fan for their workshop, I immediately recommended this.
These fans came out of National/Panasonic 2 HP AC condensing units. You can usually find these in flea markets, privately owned AC service shops and online, though I myself would rather get one that I can see & test for myself as some online sellers give you fans from smaller HP ACs than advertised. Plus these are high mileage used fans, I'd rather choose one with parts that are still decent.
