Testing The Static String With A Charge PVC Pipe

Demonstrating how effective the Static String is using a simple PVC pipe and piece of paper towel to triboelectrically charge the surface. You can see from the Static Field Meter the static charge is measuring between 20-30kv, which is high enough to prevent quality printing, it would attract particulates, and on large enough objects create large operator shocks and even discharges.
