Textural Adventure #1

Just received the incredible @FieldToneAudio Weaver and started jamming with it as the centerpiece of the patch. In this jam, Weaver captures a 2-second snippet of audio from Mutable Instruments Plaits (a rhythmic sequence driven by Grids). Once the loop is captured, I unplug Weaver’s input and route Plaits back through 2hp Slice → Desmodus Versio, so I can play Plaits and Weaver side by side: the original rhythm, and Weaver re-weaving chopped fragments from that recording. Pamela’s Pro Workout is clocking everything and triggering Slice with a Euclidean pattern. I’m modulating Weaver mostly by hand — the main knob + the three track level knobs — sometimes flipping into Texture mode and playing with the Pitch switch. The three Weaver outputs are used to trigger either an envelope modulating Plaits, or some CV into Desmodus. Planar2 is modulating Grids’ X/Y, and Harlequins Context is modulating Plaits and Slice.
