Another go with Chestnut Products Iridescent Paints, perhaps a bit subtler than some other ways of using them. The platter rim was textured with a Robert Sorby texturing tool, then sealed and sprayed with ebonising lacquer before the iridescent paints were added. The rim was finished with Hycote acrylic lacquer and the middle of the platter with Chestnut Cut 'n' Polish.
