Thai Fighter is part of the Rhythmic Odyssey for Marching and Concert Percussion, a creative research project by Paopun Amnatham. Originally written for percussion ensemble that combines both drumline and concert percussion, the piece reflects the energy and intensity of rhythmic battles. With its driving pulse, layered textures, and strong interaction between the two percussion groups, Thai Fighter was designed to support music education in Thailand—especially for school wind bands—by giving young percussionists exciting and accessible material to perform.
