Thank you, Toledo

People talk about us. We make the news for negative stuff all the time. We are portrayed in a negative light often... But here's the part they're missing. This city; this blue collar, midwest, countrified city is one of the most friendly, caring, and loving communities you will ever come across. We prove it time and time again. Most recently during this #WaterCrisis. Neighbors from all surrounding areas offered their homes, hoses, and water to those in need. Many loaded up tanks and brought them to problem areas for people to fill jugs and bottles. Police and Firefighters worked overtime and voluteered. All races, all ages, economical status... nothing mattered except we needed each other. The call came and we answered as a community. We remembered our furry friends at the animal shelters. We checked on our elderly neighbors. We came out of pocket to supply others that couldn't afford to buy water themselves. We were strong. And we were amazing. We are #ToledoProud
