“Thankful”

The Inspirare Vocal Ensemble Family is blessed with members, with kids. They like to play during our practice time. They like to eat and they like to bond and laugh as much as time permits them. Pausing and observing these kids reminds us of our youth, our hearts in the purest form and our once capacity to just leave the cares of the earth and be in total reliance to our parents and focusing on the good things around us. In this time of uncertainty, sadness and confusion, Ellen G. White reminds us to “Encourage a Happy Frame of Mind—If there is anyone who should be continually grateful, it is the Christian. If there is anyone who enjoys happiness, even in this life, it is the faithful follower of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of God's children to be cheerful. They should encourage a happy frame of mind. God cannot be glorified by His children living continually under a cloud and casting a shadow wherever they go. The Christian should cast sunshine instead of a shadow.... He will bear a cheerful countenance. Children hate the gloom of clouds and sadness. Their hearts respond to brightness, to cheerfulness, to love. (EGW, Child Guidance page 147.2-3) “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:16-18‬ ‭NIV‬‬ "Let the peace of God rule in your hearts; . . . and be ye thankful."
