That Guest Bumblebee Needs Some Help

Wild Bumblebees work as pollinators. if you meet these in house they are usually in some kind of trouble. Indoors is not hospitable environment for them. They are common sight in Finland and in Northern Europe in general not endangered species here. If you need to help them out mixing sugar and water work as acceptable emergency food. Natural honey is also good for bumblebees even though it is not the same kind of honey they produce for themselves. The bee was captured then fed with some honey and sent out on her way. I do not know if she spent winter with me or just dropped in by the way of window.
