The school has 1000 lockers - exactly 1 locker for each student. In the beginning, every locker is closed. Your principal has a weird tradition: he tells Student 1 to open every single locker. Then he tells Student 2 to close every other locker. Then he tells Student 3 to go to every 3rd locker, and if it is open to close it, but if it is closed to open it. He tells the 4th student to do the same to every 4th locker, and every nth student to do the same to the nth locker until all 1000 students have gone. How many lockers are open at the end?
