The A1 Tornado ETCS installation project

This talk, given by Rob Morland, Chartered Engineer and Electrical Engineer at the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, covers a brief introduction to the A1 Tornado Steam Locomotive's unique construction followed by the ETCS power supply design and equipment installation, together with programme trial progress towards ETCS approval for main line running during 2025.
