Here's an experimental remix of the 2024 indie animated film; 'Flow'.
Whilst watching on a discord call with some friends, I had the urge to sample it as soon as possible. I can't applaud this film enough for its clever ambiguous visual storytelling and beautiful visuals; especially for a film made entirely in Blender! It deserves all of the awards it won for sure.
Compositionally; this track is unique for its use of odd time signatures (which are cleverly disguised as regular 4/4 grooves!). I was also inspired by the lack of dialogue (which helped with the visual storytelling) so I decided to sample the animal calls and treat them as vocals, like how I make my other remixes.
