The Blind Shield 2
[Intro] [Verse 1] A midnight club, a flashing neon light, I caught a goddess in the middle of the night. Three days of heaven, three days of the bliss, Drowning in the poison of her perfect kiss. Then came the question over morning tea, With those predatory eyes looking straight at me: "If I pick a fight, if I cross the line, Would you defend me, even if the fault is mine?" She was too damn beautiful, too hot to say no — Every alpha male protects the female for the show! [Chorus] Oh, bits and pieces of my foolish pride! I became the weapon fighting by her side. A cyber-pop rhythm with a Persian sting, Jealousy and beauty is a dangerous thing. An A-minor trap with an industrial beat, I became the shield for her beautiful deceit! [Verse 2] The next Friday night, the trap was fully set, She bumped into a gangster that she'd never met. She spilled his drink, she spat into his face, Then looked at me to clear out the place. I stepped into the fire, I broke a couple bones, Fought three angry men on the cold street stones. Bleeding on the concrete, I looked back at the door — And saw her holding hands with the man upon the floor. It was all a setup, a twisted little game, To make her real lover jealous of my name! [Bridge] She didn't need a hero... She needed a tool. To trigger her man, She used a sixty-one-year-old fool. (Low, growling chuckle) [Outro] Bits and pieces! The shield is broken. Next time, baby, be right. (Fade out with a loud sound of a glass shattering and a sharp mechanical amplifier click into total silence)
