The Broken Van Gets Separated From Solar

The Chevy Express has had mechanical problems for 3 months, the alternator is charging the Renogy system in the back of the van. We make a guess that the van problems are due to the alternator having to charge the "house" battery, so I make the bold decision to disconnect the van system from the Renogy system in the hopes that the van will finally run great again. I ordered a new Renogy 500 A battery monitor and shunt. The Renogy system is now on its own and a monitoring system was needed.
