The Cave

A cave is not always just a cave. This monologue begins with Allegory of the Cave - the idea that we live among shadows, mistaking them for reality. But then it shifts into something real. A descent into a volcanic cave on Pico Island. Darkness, narrow passages, the limits of a flashlight, and that strange feeling when silence is not empty. At some point, the cave stops being a place.
