After two long years of uploading and/or editing absolutely nothing, after seeing The Eagle (made in 2011 and based on rosemary Sutcliffs book The Eagle of the ninth) couple of weeks back, I got a sudden burst of inspiration. You can say many things about the movie, but you really cannot claim that the relationship between Marcus and Esca isn't readable as a love story, probably on purpose.
The pov kinda shifts and changes from Esca to Marcus to Esca again but I hope that doesn't bother anyone too much.
